Dodd is a Senior Technician within the Cube ecosystem, shown to be an important part of what happens. He does things such as system resets, exit procedures and talks to 'higher ups'. He is a very worker engrained persona, and doesn't like going against any form of orders or work, showing anger whenever Wynn asks too many questions. He also has a keen interest in Chess, though is nowhere near as skilled as Wynn.
