The Slice and Dice Trap is one of the traps in the first Cube movie


How Does It Work[]

When the victim enters the room, nothing happens for a few seconds, then a razor-sharp grille unfolds from the ceiling a bit, upper to the victim, and then moves to the victim at very high speed, causing the victim to fall apart into small cubes. a few seconds after the victim's death, the grate folds inside of the ceiling

History[]

Cube (1997)[]

A man named "Alderson", or at least that's what his name tag says on his brown shirt. wakes up in cube-shaped room with glowing-circuit like walls white colored 14x 14x feets room. Confused, he begins to look around the room, trying to understand where he is, he sees the door on all sides, and the ladders on all sides. He decides to choose a random room, so he cheacks several rooms. The first room was identical to the room, expect it's was blue colored, it was on the left. he become even more confused and decided not to enter this room. the second room was identical, but red colored, this room was below him, he became even more confused and he decided not to enter this room too. The third room was in front of him and it is an identical orange room.. since it seems like all the rooms are identical, expect for a color, he decided to enter this room. He entered this room and made few steps. suddenly he freeze in place after whip like sound.. and his body crumbles into small cubes.. then a bloody grate appears from the ceiling, and then a few seconds later folds back to the ceiling

Cube: Zero[]

After Eric Wynn reach Cassandra Rains and Robert Haskell. He explains to them what Cube purporse are, and while he does so, Jax and his colleagues dissolve the coordinates between the rooms and set traps in each room around these 3. Eric Wynn says the coordinates have dissolved and because this happened, they can't find Exit. Eric Wynn starts checking every room around for traps. The first room he checked was the blue room, and in that room was a Flamethrower Trap that burned the boot that Eric Wynn used. Then he checked the second room, which was yellow colored, but this room had a Walls Spikes Trap that pierced boot from left and right, then he checked the room below. and the room below had an early version of Slice and Dice Trap that left a lot of damage to the boot. Then he stopped checking all the rooms around because he had already checked them all

Ways to avoid the trap[]

There is no possible way to avoid this trap
